About the conference
The 16th Conference of the
International Linear Algebra Society (ILAS)
has been held in Pisa, Italy, at
Palazzo dei Congressi from June 21 to June 25, 2010 (map  )
The conference has provided a broad view of the state of the art in both theoretical and applied linear
algebra through invited lectures, minisymposia, and contributed talks.

The conference proceedings will appear as a special issue of Linear Algebra and its Applications. The guest editors
are Dario A. Bini,
Albrecht Böttcher,
Luca Gemignani,
Leslie Hogben and
Françoise Tisseur; the responsible Editor-in-Chief is Volker
Mehrmann.
All papers submitted for the conference proceedings will be subjected to the usual LAA refereeing process.
The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2010.
